Do you think that love fades away...

...or it just tranformes itself?

Remember when he looked at you like a blind man seeing the sun for the first time? Like a collector finding an undiscovered Da Vinci, like a mother looking into the face of her newborn child? Can someone look at his beloved like that for long?

After years toghether won't be normal that that look changes? That he looks at you like anyone looks. Maybe that look will still hold some warmth of those days when you do something that triggers something in his heart, but mostly, the look will be like any other look.

And you? Won't you miss that old warm, awed gaze? If you do, what should you do about that? You can't came back in time. You can't bring back the things that you did that surprised him. He knows you from back to front. He sees right through you. Sometimes you think that he knows you better than yourself. So, what can you do? What should you do if you miss that look so much? What should you do if this plain look that he has now bothers you every single day?

Will you comfort yourself saying that everything changes? Will you give up and satisfy yourself with the good memories? Or will you read books and watch movies looking for that look in fictional characters trying to warm your heart again?

Maybe you'll look for it in another face. Will you go though your life looking for it in other people, just waiting for it to fade away with time, just like the first one?

Or will you grow old, get a grip and stop dreaming awake?
